Sewage Treatment 
Since Hyosung Ebara Engineering Co., Ltd. (“HEEC”) carried out the first biological 
treatment facility for Gumi sewage treatment plant in 1987, HEEC has retained a
variety of experiences in relation to various capacity and treatment process.






Potable Drinking Water/Deep seawater Plant HEEC is recognized as having the good techniques in field of drinking water, deep
seawater and beverage Plant. The ‘Samdasu’, potable drinking water, occupies the
biggest market share in South Korea. In addition, HEEC has carried out the Gangw
on deep seawater plant project by turn-key basis. 
Waste Incineration Fluidized-Bed Incinerator, as main incineration technology, is one of the most
advanced systems enabling automatic operation, prevention of odor, and treatment
and removal of hazardous materials in the methods of waste treatment. HEEC has
carried out many EPC projects in field of Fluidized-bed incinerator including Incheon
international Airport incinerator and indonest paper sludge incinerator.






In addition, ICFB(Internally Circulating Fluidized-bed Boiler) is also high technology
to treat waste and it is operating to the following: Fuel(Waste) is sent to combustion
chamber which fluidized sand is circulating, and completely burned. High-temperature
sand is sent to the chamber for heat recovery, and then, the sand helps boiler water
in tube to heat, and it is returned to the combustion chamber. By circulating like this
process, the ICFB maximizes the energy recovery. In addition, the ICFB is high efficiency
electric power generation technology which can incinerate a variety of wastes such as
refuse tire, refuse wood, RDF, sludge and domestic waste.
